Teaching and Research Leaders’s Meeting
In order to ensure the effective development of the teaching and research work in the new semester and implement fine management, the Junior High Department of the east campus held the teaching and research group leaders’ working meeting at 10 A.M. on 14th February, which was attended by Director Li Ping, Deputy Director Hu Sen and all the teaching and research group leaders.
Initially, Deputy Director Hu Sen pointed out that the leaders of the teaching and research group should play a leading role, make progress together, advocate positive energy, lead team members to study teaching rules, and try their best to improve teaching results. Other than that, the teaching and research group leaders were supposed to encourage and instruct young teachers to strengthen their basic skills, enhance their professional quality, shape their professional image, and strive to improve their ability quickly in a short period of time so as to contribute to the development of Anqing Foreign Language School. Additionally, Deputy Director Hu Sen assigned various tasks of the new semester to the teaching and research group leaders.
Furthermore, Director Li Ping made a summary speech in which she stressed that teamwork is the key to a collective development. Each teacher has his own advantages and shortcomings. Thus, the teaching and research group leaders should play a leading role, give play to the strengths of each teacher so that they can learn from each other and work together in the group. On the other hand, Director Li Ping laid emphasis on the responsibility of teaching and research group leaders and lesson preparation group leaders, hoping that everyone could carry forward the spirit of ownership and cooperation, actively deepen the curriculum reform to raise the teaching level and promote teaching quality; Last but not the least, Director Li Ping encouraged teachers to summarize their own teaching experience to form their own teaching characteristics; Also, she further proposed the educational function of homework under the background of the policy of ‘easing the burden of excessive homework and off-campus tutoring for students undergoing compulsory education’, and put forward higher requirements and hopes for each teaching and research group leader.
Overall, this meeting is not only a meeting for the leaders of the teaching and research group to learn and communicate with each other, but also a feast of ideas for the new semester, new atmosphere and new ideas. In addition, the group leaders expressed that through this meeting, they would vigorously devote themselves to the new semester with a new attitude and sufficient energy!
